Frequently Asked Questions About Time Card Calculator with Multiple In and Out Times
How do I calculate multiple clock in and out times?
In Advanced, enter each clock-in and clock-out pair as a separate work period on the same day. The calculator adds those durations and subtracts any unpaid breaks entered within them.
Can I enter two shifts in one day?
Yes. Open Advanced and use Add clock-in / clock-out period for the second shift. Enter both shifts' start and end times; the gap between them does not count toward worked hours.
How do I calculate lunch punches?
Enter the morning and afternoon as separate work periods. Leave the lunch deduction empty or zero when lunch is the gap between those periods, so it is not deducted twice.
Can I add multiple breaks or multiple lunch breaks?
Yes. Advanced lets you add unpaid break fields for time inside your recorded work periods. Do not deduct gaps between separate clock-in and clock-out periods again.
Is this a multiple punch time card calculator?
Yes. Advanced supports multiple clock-in and clock-out pairs for each day. Those periods are also retained when you switch back to Simple.
