Terms of use
Last updated: November 5, 2026
OnlineTimecards is a free tool for calculating work hours and estimated earnings, with optional accounts for saving and sharing personal timecards. These terms describe responsible use of the service.
Calculations are estimates
Results depend on the entries and settings you supply. Review your times, breaks, overtime rules and pay rates before relying on a result. Estimated gross earnings do not account for all taxes, deductions, contracts or jurisdiction-specific payroll requirements.
OnlineTimecards is not a payroll certification service, legal adviser or employer attendance-verification system. Keep any separate records required by your employer or applicable rules.
Accounts and your records
Use an account you are authorized to access and protect your sign-in details. You remain responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of information you enter or save.
You retain your rights in your work records. The service processes those records to provide the features you request, such as saving, editing and public sharing. Do not enter information you are not entitled to use or disclose.
Sharing and deletion
Public sharing is optional. An enabled share link lets anyone who has it read the shared record. Review notes, headers, work entries and pay details before sharing. You can revoke access through the sharing controls; copies already made by others cannot be recalled.
Deleting a timecard removes it from the active dashboard and stops its public availability. Deletion currently uses a deleted-record status rather than immediate permanent erasure. See the privacy policy for account and deletion requests.
Acceptable use
- Do not try to access another person’s private account or records.
- Do not upload malicious content, abuse the service, or interfere with its availability.
- Do not use the service for unlawful activity or to misrepresent a record as independently verified.
Availability and changes
Features may change, and the service can be interrupted or unavailable. Keep your own copies of records you need. A failed save or an unavailable connection does not mean a record has been stored.
OnlineTimecards uses third-party hosting, authentication and database services. Their availability and their own terms can affect your use of the service.
Software and content
OnlineTimecards includes third-party software and adapted components. Rights in those components remain with their respective owners and are subject to applicable licenses. The OnlineTimecards name and original product content are separate from the records you create.
Questions and applicable rights
Use the contact page if you have a question about the service or need help with account information. Nothing on this page is intended to remove rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
